Rokonet's ProSYS with TCP/IP Connectivity Installed on Greek Island
The compound of the well-known Angelopoulos Family on the island of Mykonos is being protected by Rokonet's sophisticated ProSYS and ACM TCP/IP connectivity module, enabling monitoring via the network. The use of this advanced integrated system in a private home is unusual, since the system is generally installed in business locations with an Internet/Intranet infrastructure. Mrs. Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki was largely responsible for the successful organization of the recent Olympic Games in Greece.
Each of her family's two large villas on the island has an ACM Advanced Communication Module, which report via the network to the monitoring system in the compound's guardhouse. A combination of wired and wireless detectors and accessories has been installed, including iWISE® and ZoDIAC detectors, as well as wireless panic buttons. In addition to the Angelopoulos compound, a Rokonet ProSYS system with ACM is also installed in one of the island's most exclusive jewelry stores, enabling full control via the existing Internet/Ethernet infrastructure.

A Robbery That Rokonet's Smart Detectors with ACT™ Would Have Foiled
During a burglary at the office/warehouse of Kadmon Brin, a well-known exhibit designer, four expensive Mac computers were stolen. The thieves camouflaged themselves from the detectors by using a large wooden board, which they held in front of themselves as they moved through the 1000 sq. m. space.
According to Mr. Avi Grin of Kadmon Brin, the robbery could have been avoided if they had installed detectors employing Rokonet's Anti-Cloak Technology (ACT™), the most advanced detector technology available today. ACT™ detects intruders even during camouflage attempts and at high room temperatures, by identifying these events and switching to microwave only mode - only when needed. ACT™ is available in Rokonet's iWISE DT detectors and Industrial LuNAR high ceiling detectors.

Their tour included the Risco Group manufacturing company that produces a wide range of sophisticated security products and systems. They also visited Rokonet's office, where the officers were given a presentation about the company and a demonstration of the ProSYS integrated system, monitored by it's new IP connectivity module - the Advanced Communication Module (ACM).

Rokonet's New ProSYS Demo Board Simplifies Training and Sales
Training and sales for Rokonet's ProSYS integrated system have become a lot simpler with the recent introduction of a unique new demo tool. It enables hands-on practical experience for installers and allows customers to see for themselves how the system will work. The new demo tool - which comes in a stylish laptop travel bag - includes: built-in ProSYS 128 main panel, LCD proximity keypad, voice module and message box, 4 on-board switches to represent zones, alarm and output lamps, 220/16 VAC wall transformer and standard phone line connector. The demo board also enables connecting Rokonet's TCP/IP connectivity module (ACM) to demo monitoring over IP and can be further expanded via the ProSYS bus quick connectors.
