ProSound

A new line of professional external sounders that includes anti-foam, anti-drill and anti-approach protection. ProSound incorporates Rokonet's Surface Light Technology (SLT) in which light is emitted from a surface mount device, significantly extending the life of the strobe. ProSound can be installed with any security system; when installed with ProSYS, ProSound can be remote controlled & diagnosed via the Keypad or the Up/Download software.

Rokonet is re-launching its professional wired system for the Residential and Commercial markets - the ORBiT 14. ORBiT 14 supports up to 14 zones and - with 4 group arming levels, and an extensive line of features - it offers exceptional value for both the installer and end-user. ORBiT 14's intuitive ICON Keypad displays the system's status via easily understandable icons, assuring simplified use by end-users. The ICON keypad is much easier to operate and program than LED keypads and more cost-effective than LCD keypads. The Keypad offers an attractive blue backlight and dedicated panic, fire and medical keys.

An intelligent digital shock detector that includes an exceptionally reliable adjustment method, discriminates between real attacks and background vibrations. ShockTec can be mounted on frame or glass, either vertically or horizontally, and includes cover tamper protection. ShockTec is available with or without a magnetic contact. With magnetic contact, double protection is enabled on opening windows and doors (shock and contact), via internal magnetic reed switches that also save on installation time and costs.

| iWISE Grade-3 compliant Detectors |

The iWISE Green Line DT AM detectors incorporate a new concept in detectors that follows environmentally-friendly standards by avoiding surplus radiation emission. In the iWISE Green Line detectors, the active Microwave channel can be disabled when the alarm system is in unset mode. It is EN 50131-1 Grade-3 compliant with Active IR anti-masking and includes Rokonet's Anti-Cloak™ Technology for superior detection. The iWISE QUAD AM upgrades the best selling iWISE QUAD and CoSMOS QUAD models to Grade-3 requirements, with the addition of active IR anti-mask capability. These new Grade-3 detectors include built-in EOL resistors, selectable via jumpers.

Rokonet particpated in the Americas' Fire
and Security Expo, which was held at the Miami Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida, on July 19-21.
Rokonet introduced the ProSYS Integrated Security System with all the latest accessories; TCP/IP communication module - ACM, the GSM/GPRS module and the 3Amp Power Supply as well as: the Industrial LuNAR - an addressable, ceiling mounted detector that can be remotely controlled and diagnosed via the ProSYS; WatchOUT, a new outdoor detector offering a combination of the most advanced technologies; WisDom, the latest in wireless security; ORBiT 14 with ICON Keypad; and the entire product range of systems and detectors.

IFSEC 2005

Rokonet participated in IFSEC Security Solutions and Network Advantage 2005 - the leading global security event, which was held May 16-19 at NEC, Birmingham, UK. In addition to some memorable entertainment and a few surprises at their booth, Rokonet introduced a number of its newest lines: WatchOUT - the new outdoor detector series, AND WisDom - Wireless Security System; and the ProSYS Integrated Security Systems with all its innovative new Remote Control & Diagnostics Capabilities, as well as the latest in Intelligent Accessories.
 Devices recently released include the new GSM/GPRS module, the TCP/IP communication module - ACM and the 3Amp Power Supply, as well as the ProSound External Sounder, the Industrial LuNAR ceiling-mount detector, and the WatchOUT outdoor detector - all addressable on the ProSYS bus and offering advanced Remote Control & Diagnostic capabilities enabling the remote control of settings via the ProSYS Upload/Download software.

Rokonet recently held two major marketing promotional campaigns - One to name the new outdoor detector series, and one to install the new Industrial LuNAR on the highest ceiling.

Naming Rokonet's New Outdoor Detector Series
|
|
|
The winning name for Rokonet's outdoor series was 'WatchOUT', submitted by contest winners, Sharona Katzenstein of Risco Group's Finance Department, and Itzik Baron, a Rokonet Regional Sales Manager. The challenge was to find the most creative and catchy name for this great new product, which delivers the highest security protection while eliminating false alarms caused by the unstable outdoor environment. The winners each received €500 of the total €1000 prize.

Installing the new Industrial LuNAR on the Highest Ceiling
|
|
|
Another competition - which was conducted around the world in recent months - offered a prize of US$ 1000 per meter of installation height for the highest installation of Rokonet's new Industrial LuNAR (up to 8.6m/28ft). The contest was won by Mr. Edison Villarroel of Ecuador - who installed 7 Industrial LuNAR detectors at a height of 8.3m in a customer's warehouse. Mr. Villarroel, who works for the LAARCOM Installation Company in Guayaquil, Ecuador, won US$ 8,300. The detectors were purchased from Rokonet's local distributor, Mr. Javier Jalil of MACROQUIL. Both Mr. Edison and Mr. Jalil have been Rokonet customers for many years. Mr. Javier Jalil of MACROQUIL received the prize on behalf of Mr. Edison at a Cocktail Party held during America's security Expo on Rokonet's booth.
"Taking Intelligence to New Heights", the Industrial LuNAR includes Rokonet's revolutionary Anti-Cloak Technology (ACT™) as well as intelligent Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and offers remote diagnostics as well as bi-directional remote control, allowing adjustments and checks to be done without climbing ladders.

The Risco Group - Restructuring in the UK
|

|
|
The Risco Group, owner of GardTec and Rokonet, recently restructured the Group's UK operations, creating a new entity - Risco Group UK. Leveraging the joint resources of the two companies will enable an expanded range of intruder alarm products as well as a higher level of customer service through additional Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and Telesales representatives, a new Product Training department for installers, more technical support representatives, and improved logistics.
